🔌 Power outages are, unfortunately, nothing new. But for hospitals in frontline communities, the issue is especially critical — reliable electricity is essential to ensure uninterrupted medical care. Traditional solutions like generators often prove insufficient, as fuel is difficult to obtain and store in adequate quantities — especially under constant shelling.
To ensure uninterrupted operation of rural health clinics and first-aid stations, we delivered 30 power stations (ranging from 1 to 3 kW) to 11 primary healthcare centers in frontline communities such as:📍 Znob-Novhorodska, Svesa, Hlukhivska, Mykolaivska, Verkhnosyrovatka, Shalyhyne, Krasnopilska, Seredyno-Budska, Novoslobidska, Velykopysarivska, and Berezivska.
🤝 This support was provided as part of the project “Strengthening the Primary and Secondary Healthcare System in the Sumy Region,” implemented by UA Brokers Without Borders in partnership with the International Rescue Committee in Ukraine (IRC).
Unfortunately, due to the escalation of hostilities, some communities are already having to use the power stations to keep dental offices running, ensure lighting in bomb shelters, and maintain technical stability in reception areas.
